I conceived of, designed, and developed this project for The Pudding.
The books are arranged based on visual similarity, using Mario Klingemann’s RasterFairy library.
You can further filter by the books' metadata and visual elements (detected by Google Vision) to further explore trends.
In addition to the projects like Deepwork and Goodwill Hunting where I use data to point out trends that I've identified, I like exploring work like this that lays data out in a new way and invites viewers to form their own hypotheses.
